I’m going full in on this…it’s not just a side project”.
Lanez profusely labels his music as Swavey “a musical genre that I came up with to describe artists who are too talented to stay in a box with their music”. He is known to mix a number of genres such as rap, dancehall, R&B and sonically a versatile artist who can balance between singer and rapper. His latest album, “Memories Don’t Die” dropped back in March and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 respectively. He is currently in the middle of his tour of the same name; stops are currently scheduled across North America until mid-August.
