Mike Jeffrey hails from the Caribbean Island of Grenada. Has been involved in live radio broadcasting for many years. The objective of his live radio broadcast programs, to enhance Culture and disseminate pertinent information to the Caribbean American Communities. For example, Music, News and Interviews as it relates to the Caribbean American Communities. The Radio programs are providing a VOICE to the Caribbean American Communities, which the Caribbean American Communities have not had in the Southwest Florida area. Mike has done live Caribbean Radio Programs in New York and here in Southwest Florida, particularly in the Ft Myers and surrounding areas. Over the Years, Mike Jeffrey hosted CARIBBEAN RADIO PROGRAMS ON 96 K ROCK FM; WDCQ 1200 AM; 770 AM. AND 1410/1660 CURRENTLY, MIKE HOST THE ONLY ENGLISH SPEAKING CARIBBEAN NEWS, INTERVIEWS AND MUSIC  RADI0 PROGRAM ON 1350 AM, SATURDAYS 2-4PM Most recent interviews, 2013 to present: Lee County Commissioner, Cecil Pendergrass; Lee County Supervisor of Elections, Joan Harrington; Chairman of Lee County Democratic Party; Chairman of Lee County Republican Party; Lee PITTS LIVE, ON FOX 4 T.V. Reggae and Soca Artists, Burning Spear, Ziggy Marley, Third World, Culture, Sparrow, Rose, Sister Carol, Baron, Winston Soso. Mike Jeffrey is a former Professor at Edison State College, Hodges University and a Professor at Florida Gulf Coast University, from 2003, until 2014. Mike is a graduate of Long Island University, New York, with a Master’s degree.  Mike is also a Certified Mental health Therapist, with experiences in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling. Also held various offices in political, civic and social organizations for many years.
